Mike Ward

Mike Ward is a biting bilingual comedian who happens to be a household name in French Canada. He’s won multiple awards (Gemini, Victor, Olivier, Nez d’Or, Antoine1), produced three platinum-selling DVDs, and was named one of the 25 Best Comedians of All Time by ‘Le Festival Juste Pour Rire’ (the Just for laugh festival’s French speaking part). In 2010 he was ranked as one of the Top 10 Funniest Comedians in the World by TheTop-Tens.com.

He is a frequent guest of the Anthony Cumia Show (Opie & Anthony) and he’s been on numerous podcasts including WTF with Marc Maron and Artie Lange’s Artie Quitter Podcast, just to name a few.

Mike has appeared on television doing stand-up in 20 countries; airing throughout Europe, Africa, Australia and North America. He can currently be seen on Showtime (USA) in Artie Lange’s Nasty Show and on Air Canada Flights (Wordwide) in JPR Gala F**k Les Variétés.

Mike has performed many times and have hosted Galas at ComediHa! Fest-Quebec and also performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal every year since 2008. In 2015 he took-over hosting duties from Bobby Slayton for The Nasty Show, the festival’s longest running and most popular show. On stage Mike talks about battered women, death, the disabled, war, famine, child abuse and other upbeat topics. He’s irreverent, offensive and downright impolite… and people love him for it.
